Rules

- Submission of Assignments and Projects:
All assignments, projects, and homework must be completed and submitted by the deadlines set by faculty members. - Examinations:
Students must appear for all internal assessments and final exams as scheduled. Cheating, copying, or any form of malpractice during exams is strictly prohibited and will result in severe penalties, including possible suspension or expulsion. - Academic Integrity:
Plagiarism, or presenting someone else’s work as your own, is not tolerated. Students must follow ethical practices in all academic submissions.

Respect for Faculty and Staff:
Students are expected to show respect to all faculty members, administrative staff, and peers. Any form of misbehavior, disrespect, or harassment will lead to disciplinary action. -
Classroom Conduct:
- Students must be punctual and attentive in class.
- Mobile phones must be switched off or kept on silent mode during lectures, lab sessions, and other academic activities.
- Disruption of classes or other students’ learning will result in disciplinary action.

Dress Code:
Students must dress in a modest and appropriate manner. Proper college uniforms (if applicable) should be worn on specified days. -
Prohibited Conduct:
Acts of ragging, bullying, or any form of physical or mental harassment are strictly prohibited. Such actions will result in immediate expulsion from the college as per anti-ragging laws. -
Substance Abuse:
The consumption of alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited on campus. Violators will face severe consequences, including expulsion.
- Classrooms and Labs:
Students are expected to use classrooms, laboratories, and other college facilities responsibly. Damaging or mishandling college property will result in fines and disciplinary action. - Library Use:
- Students must maintain silence in the library to ensure a peaceful environment for study.
- Books and materials borrowed from the library must be returned by the due date. Late return of books will attract a fine.
- Library books should be handled with care, and any damage or loss will result in fines.
- Computer Labs and Internet Usage:
- Students must use the college’s computer labs responsibly, following all lab rules.
- Unethical practices such as downloading pirated software, hacking, or accessing inappropriate content on the internet are prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
- Mobile Phones and Gadgets:
- Mobile phones should not be used during classes, examinations, or other formal academic activities unless expressly permitted by the instructor.
- Misuse of electronic gadgets for academic dishonesty, cyberbullying, or spreading false information will lead to strict punishment.
- Entry into Examination Halls:
Students must arrive at least 15 minutes before the commencement of any examination. Latecomers may be denied entry. - Prohibited Items:
Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic gadgets (unless approved) are not allowed in the examination hall. - Malpractice:
Any form of cheating or copying during exams will result in immediate cancellation of the exam and potential expulsion from the course or college.
- Students are encouraged to participate in sports, cultural activities, and clubs. However, participation should not interfere with academic performance.
- Prior approval from faculty is required for missing classes due to participation in any extracurricular activities.
- Students must help maintain the cleanliness of classrooms, labs, and campus areas by disposing of waste in designated bins.
- Vandalism of college property will result in fines and disciplinary action.
- Fire safety regulations and guidelines must be followed, and tampering with safety equipment such as fire extinguishers is prohibited.
- Ragging in any form is strictly banned on campus, in hostels, and in any college-affiliated event.
- As per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and government regulations, any involvement in ragging will lead to strict disciplinary action, including rustication or expulsion from the college.
- Attendance at important college events like seminars, workshops, cultural festivals, and guest lectures is encouraged. Participation in these events helps in the overall development of students.
- Students must submit a written application to the concerned authority for planned leave due to medical or personal reasons.
- Prolonged absenteeism without notice will result in being marked as a dropout, and readmission may require special permission.

Payment of Fees:
All fees, including tuition and examination fees, must be paid by the stipulated deadlines. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of admission or denial of entry into exams. -
Refund Policy:
Refund of fees (if applicable) will be as per the college’s official refund policy.
- Hostel residents must follow all hostel rules regarding timings, visitor policies, and curfew.
- Any form of indiscipline or misconduct in the hostel will result in expulsion from the hostel and possible further disciplinary action.
- Students facing any issues, including academic grievances or misconduct, can approach the Grievance Redressal Committee for assistance.
- Complaints should be made in writing, and the committee will review and address the concerns as per the college’s policies.
